Candy Shop Customs Logo Design
One of the things we’re big on at iCreate is asking questions. As the logo we developed for automotive refurbishment company Candy Shop Customs shows, it is the best way to actually really understand who the client is, what they want, where they see the business going, and how our graphic art and branding talents can help them get there.
The logo design brief
The inspiration for this very classic logo design started with asking plenty of questions when meeting with the company’s founder. We’d already had the idea of merging the initials of the business into the shape of a car, so it made sense to ask him what type of car he’d like to see them be.
The Holden EFIGY, he said. Which worked perfectly, as it has the kind of vintage look that suits the brand and the business and the letters worked beautifully in that shape, which became the centrepiece of the entire logo.
To really communicate the sense of a modern day vintage car look, the use of chrome colouration and iconography including the wing treatment and the auto grille top and bottom were added. A more square, san serif font was used for the name to give that element a linear, sharp feel.
The result? The client loves it!
As a logo it will be working across multiple mediums, with a black and white interpretation for print, and highlights of silver added to it on the website iCreate is currently developing for them.
The iCreate graphic designers also created variations that can be used as stickers with chrome on them that can be added to vehicles the workshop has completed – making customers an extension of his branding and marketing.
